Importing from MRA to Garmin XT2 problems
-
Problem: I create a route in MRA using a mixture of shaping and via points, transfer the device to an XT2. Try to load as a route in the XT2, receive the prompt "The vehicle profile used to create this route cannot be used with the device. Recalculate the route to work with this device?" and clicking 'yes' results in XT2 ignoring the shaping points and only recognising the via points. Viewing the route on the Tread app shows the same as the XT2 device post-calculation prompt.
I suspect I have a setting wrong somewhere, but already done some trial and error no joy. Any suggestions appreciated!
MRA route created using shaping points, with 'hard' stops as via points
Routing in MRA = HERE (MyRoute-App/Garmin)
Transport mode = Motorcycle (also tried Car
Format = Tried GPX 1.0, 1.1 & 1.2 all as routesXT2 Settings > Navigation > Off-Route Recalculation = Off

@andeh
Choose No when you get that question on the XT2. Best is to use the connector on the website when you use gpx 1.2 and not the Tread app to transfer the route
