MRA & Android Auto Issues Still
-
First, I would like to tell you guys the route planning software and mobile app are good. Its my preference now for guidance especially on my bike. Exporting to my garmin zumo works well.
Second, my gripe! There are still issues with MRA and Android Auto. Can you guys tell me which order the app and android auto should communicate? I would have thought it would be in any order but that doesn't seem to be the case.
If I start the car and my phone connects with AA through BT if I select MRA the screen in all black.
If I plug the phone in by usb cable and start the car, I can select the MRA app on screen and it loads up but the cursor just sits at the start position and doesn't move with the vehicle.
If I open the MRA app on my phone, plug in the USB cable and then switch on the ignition, I get a car screen which says 'Android Auto has failed' so I select OK to continue, and then I can select the MRA on the car screen and it seems to be working normally. I can select a route on my phone and when I select it to navigate, it populates the car screen and everything works. It's just rather infuriating when you have to operate this app through AA in such a particular order.
Can you guys investigate this for me please?
Being a gold user for both your planner and mobile app, I was really hoping it was money well spent!!
Kind Regards

Don't worry, your money is definitely well spent.
But the Apple Carplay and/or Android Auto component still needs further development. And the team is working hard on that at the moment. -
