Missing blue bar in IOS
-
Hello,
I have made first tests and it seems very good, almost all works correctly!
I have noticed missing blue bar on the top of my iphone screen, showing, that application is using my location - it is very useful to switch between two or more applications by clicking (sequentionally) on it. It is visible for example in case of sygic navigation, but not in MRA Next, -
@Stanisław
Do you mean this:Screenshot is not from Next because of the above remark
-
@Stanisław on my iPhone13 it's showing the little arrow as a warning that my location is being used:

@Rob-Verhoeff Sorry, I haven't precised my phone model - it is 8 plus, without notch.
In case of Sygic in background (and other applications) it seems like this (a message "Sygis currently is using your location")
In case of Next in background there is nothing:
Permition for GPS is set as "When using" - the same in case of Sygic. -
This is actually a correct observation. When using Navigation and you are not tracking, we don't use your location in the background. Therefore iOS won't show the blue bar
However, in a future update the Navigation module will work in the background and then the blue bar will automatically appear (so voice prompts / notifications about upcoming maneuvers still work when switching to another app).
If you turn on tracking, the blue bar will now also appear

@Corjan-Meijerink Thank you, so I understand that simply it currently doesn't work in background, but will be in the future versions. Thanks for explanation!
