to have a small coloured circle in a corner on the screen
green: phone is charging
orange: phone is not charging but still enough battery
red: pbhone will die soonjust to avoid that navigation dies because a USB cable is not correctly attached
or maybe the position indicator could be used for this purpose?

MyRouteNavigation covers the status bar on an iPhone.
And I think that I saw screenshots of Next the do so too.b.t.w. BMW Connected and HereWeGo don't.
Maybe the HereWeGo engine is the basis of Next. -
I can see the status bar on mobile phone while using navigation.
Maybe it was related with phone model?? I'm using an iPhone SE 2ΒΊ Generation. But, yes, a color circle could be easier to check.
