How can I show a waypoint ie: break stop on a route on a Garmin xt. Do I have load it as a route or a track?

Hi Brian, change the routepoint into a viapoint, and you wil see this point as a flag on your XT.
Use the gpx 1.1 or 1.2 file (connector or save as)
BMW BMW Connected Ride Navigator/Garmin Zumo XT3/XT2/XT//Tourstart/ MyRouteapp (The App)/...

And make sure you use the Here map.
You don’t stop riding when you get old, you get old when you stop riding.
