      Good morning.
Is there a way to split a route into smaller routes? I typically design multi day travels but it'd be great if you could split them based on the waypoints, into smaller let's day daily (500-600km) pieces.

The toolkit includes an option for Gold Members to split a route.

@maciej-kuczara I would suggest planning multi-day trips on a day-by-day basis to avoid this issue. I don't really see the benefit of planning an entire multi-day trip as one route. You'll have natural start and end points for each day at a hotel or campground where you'll spend the night anyway and you're not driving the entire route in one go anyway, so creating just a single route for multiple days makes no sense to me (you can always create a quick overview of the route by following these instructions, in case you want to have an overview of the full trip anyway. It will allow you to select different colours for different days, to make it clearer).

@jack-van-tilburg Thanks! This is what I was looking for. How could I be so blind 🙂

@herko-ter-horst Hey. I typically start with a theoretical endpoint (based on the time available) and then I start to detail out the road there - ending up always with a massive monstrosity 🙂

@herko-ter-horst This doesn't look like an issue to me, as the software can do it. I think that everyone has his own way of making his routes : it would occur to me too to (also) make one big, long route for a multiple day's trip... Then the day-by-day fine-tuning comes in the end.

One of the advantages to work this way, is that you can plan e.g. one big 1500 km route for a 5-day trip. Splitting them in roughly 300 km chunks only in the end (and looking for hotels only at that stage) may even save you some "hotel-planning" time in the end...

@sudolea This is how I exactly plan my routes. With the split option available it works perfectly.
