Android v6 app Autozoom Android Auto

Hello,
I took a short test ride yesterday using the Android v6 app. I use Android Auto on a Chigee AIO 6 display, and I generally prefer the "top-down" (direction of travel) view. In the v5 app, I didn't have auto-zoom with this view. In the v6 app, I also couldn't find any auto-zoom with this view. Auto-zoom only worked in the dynamic view. Is auto-zoom still unavailable for the top-down view when using the v6 app with Android Auto? If so, are there any plans to add it?

Topdown is indeed not auto zooming by design

But is this being planned? If not, then I’d like to submit this as a feature request.

As long as the button "Don't use auto zoom" in preferencies is working correkt - I don't care about development of auto zoom.
I use a remote controller on handlebar, becaus by this zoom works quicker and more precise for my needs. And as long I have this in use, I don't want auto zoom is interfering.
