Moving Waypoints

How do you do it with fast internet, in a time less than making the journey you are editing, please?
I am continually reloading the page, in the hope that a waypoint will attach to a 'left click' so it can be then moved.
Would it be possible to click on a waypoint, and just use 'up' or 'down' buttons to move the waypoint inside a route

Once in the right place, you can release the mouse button.
