Being instructed to turn off at each next Junction

I’m part through a France Odyssey. Several days my System has insisted in instructing me to get off the motorway or dual carriageway etc at the upcoming junction with the intent of getting me to rejoin immediately. Can anyone let me know what’s going wrong and what I need to fix this frustrating issue, please ?

Look at your settings probably you have dont use motorways active

I vaguely remember that this sometimes happens when navigating routes in MRA Navigation Next that were planned on the OSM map. But since routes on other than the HERE map are automatically navigated as track, I would be surprised if that is still the case.

Waypoints close to the motorway junctions?

No, it happens even on country roads. I suspect it’s to do with those ‘mandatory’ Waypoints. If I delete them en route the problem seems to evaporate. I don’t use many at all, maybe two in 200 Kms

I Con, I’m enthusiastic about planning on my Mac and then using my I phone and aocchi to navigate on my journeys. Leaving St Malo when I started my holiday I obviously did not ‘go over’ the first mandatory waypoint as I didn’t start the system until away from the Port. I wonder if the system was hunting for that point, but even so wanting me off the dual carriageway to Rennes it then would immediately direct me to rejoin and keep heading south. Weird.
