New forum section about exports!
-
Hi all!
Please use the sub topics in this section to ask questions about your navigation system.
At MyRoute-app we simply are not able to answer all navigation related questions anymore. There are so many devices and we have stopped using them all as we now have our own app with Navigation Next
We still support other devices where possible using the common GPX or more specific file formats. That unfortunately does not mean we know everything about the device itself.Feel free to ask your questions here! If we are missing an important category, please let us know and we will create it. Using the community knowledge here on the public forum we at MyRoute-app are sure we are able to offer a better service to you all!
Cheers,
Corjan

Why has the in-App export GPX been removed in V5.0.4-451?
It was the single best feature when on the move and not being able to use the phone for navigation. Download the GPX to the phone and use Bluetooth to upload it to another satnav, no cable connection problems, simple, and now it appears to be gone. You cannot always use the web page for this.

It definitely has not been removed.
You can scroll the bottom navigation bar (when you opened the route and where the big yellow navigate button is) horizontally. There you can click the download button. -
This creates a worry. Yes, you may now have your own Navigation App but the very and sole reason I purchased MRA with lifetime membership was to create routes that I could then export and use on my BMW CONNECTED RIDE NAVIGATOR, there is notca chance I could use your Navigation App on my bike. Reading between the lines of this post seems to indicate that you have no ongoing interest in users who are using Navigation Apps or systems that are not part of your organisation.
Appreciate you can't and won't need to know about every device out there but support needs to continue and still rank highly in your development plans for such systems.

It works exactly the same way as before.
It’s just that the download button isn’t immediately visible.
You need to swipe left on the bottom row to see the download button. -

@David-Howarth our development plans regarding these systems have not changed at all. We currently support all systems and will continue doing so. No worries

It’s just that we simply cannot answer all questions about Harley-Davidson boomboxes or the new Zumo XT3 because we don’t use them on daily basis.
By using the community we are able to create a better pool of answers which will elevate customer service standards.
We could hire all these people with very specific knowledge or drive with all devices the entire time but that would be a waste of money. You rather have me creating good software than getting my knowledge up to speed about a TomTom from 10 years ago.
