Friends and Voice Volume
-
Firstly this is a great App. Recent updates have really brought it to the fore front of user Navigation Apps but this one is sitting on a premier route planner IMO
One request/suggestion and one gripe.
Seeing friends
It would be great if we could see the location of Friends on the app screen. Obviously some kind of permission would be required, but for group riding it becomes a real plus if folk get split up (out of MESH range) or when the lead (biker) wants to check where tail end charlie is.Voice route guidance volume cannot be heard. Now it could be my set up but its happened across two SENA systems now.
At the same helmet comms (SENA) settings my TOMTOM is screaming at me volume is deafening, My music off my phone is also deafeningly loud. Phone calls the same. But I just cannot hear voice guidance at all from the Navigator app unless there is zero other ambient noise its volume in my helmet is just very faint... everything is maxed out on the app for volume. Phone (latest ios)volume slider is maxed up. Why is the volume so different from the app.

The idea of seeing friends' locations seems like a great suggestion. Regarding the sound, I can't help you. I always keep my GPS systems on silent..

This is a bit complicated; I am not sure if the Devs will think about it.
In the meantime have a look at Sena App Wave or BT-Talk fom Midland.Regarding loudness, have you tried to adjust the volume when advice is spoken?
BT connections are a bit complicated. How is your phone connected to your Sena, as a phone or as a navigation device? Try both. -

This has been asked for repeatedly, and I think it is on the devs minds. Just don't hold your breath...

Voice route guidance volume cannot be heard.
I think you need to UP the volume while it is talking. If the phone volume is already UP, check the volume of the SENA itself WHILE the voice is talking (different channel then the music probably).
