WunderLINQ solution for BMW's
-
Guys,
Any chance to get MRA Nav to work with this solution?
https://blackboxembedded.com/products/wunderlinq-commuter-editionSome other navigations works with it:
https://blackboxembedded.com/pages/integrationsThis is a replacement for a BMW's Navigator's. And uses a BMW roller!
For people who hates a BMW's Navigator's - like me -

@spili I guess there are a ton of that kind of devices. It seems not feasible to me for MRA to remain compatible with all those tools, no matter how interesting they may be for part of the MRA community.

@hans-van-de-ven-mra-master The BMW cradle only allows the bikes controls to work with the BMW App. The Wunderlinq works, to a certain extent, with any app on the phone and has enhanced functionality with certain navigation apps. It would be great if the MRA and Black Box Embedded teams could get together to make MRA one of those enhanced apps.

@drabslab MRA i.e. MRA's Navigation-App users are switching to one of the other Apps with support, like Kurviger or Scenic, etc. This should be enought argument to implement the support. In fact implementation of WunderLINQ is not such a big deal. MRA Team only has to implement some kind of Bluetooth Keyboard functionality for navigating in the MRA App. All WunderLINQ Code is open source, not such closed system like the "new" cradle from BMW, which kind of steels the BlackBox Embedded WuderLINQ Idea.

@JaSta
I totally agree! Any news about this?? -
@Tom-Balmer WunderLINQ integration is actively in development by us. With the release behind us, as of today, I’d estimate this to be wrapped up within a month
