-
Hey everyone,
I recently wrote an in-depth review for MyRoute-app after ±10,000 km of intensive use of the DMD-T665 in combination with MyRoute-app Navigation Next, and I wanted to briefly share my experiences here and invite you to read the full blog post.

Your update Made me thinking that it would time also for me to update my review Off the T865X the bigger brother of your T665 -

I'm using the DMD T865-X which is bigger than the T665 - and I use it in the same way: MyRoute-App for onroad navigation and DMD2 app for offroad navigation.
I can confirm @Bart-De-Medts excellent review. I do come to the same conclusion: devices and app (for offroad) of DMD are currently the reference. The devices are heavy, but this is because of big battery inside, which allows to drive the device the whole day without power cable connection.
The reason for me to use the bigger T865-X is, the bigger screen, with bigger symbols - it's more comfortable.
And really a game changer is the mounting cradle with cable harness, which is pre configured for use of remote controller! Operating a Nav device by a remote controller changes the game to next level!
In summary there are so many advantages, so a AA/CP or similar is really not an option for me on a bike! May in a car it's another situation. But if I own a DMD - I can use it everywhere
edit: also DMD will launch next time a new 7" device.

@Guzzist I’ll install the new DMD 7” device as soon as it becomes available and review it afterwards.
