bug? V 4.4.1 wont open on my Pixel7

slightly long story..broken Pixel 7 so sent for repair. In mean time using my older Moto Edge 30 Neo with V4.4.1 from play store and all is working OK. (Also V4.4.1 working on my Samsung Active TAb 3)

The Pixel is not repairable so Google send me a NEW device.

I have loaded V4.4,1 from the playstore onto the Pixel, . When I open MRA it asks me to allow notifications, then it hangs on the white logo screen with the waypoint symbol. Tried clearing cahce and storage. Tried rebooting. Uninstalled and reinstalled MRA still the same

last system update 5 Oct 25, playstore 1 sept 25--'Your Device is up to date'

@Neil-q, I suspect, after asking for notification permission, it will ask for location permission. I cant tell you what went wrong, but giving it permanent location permission from within the Android settings, might force the app start to continue.

Sorry for delay in getting back here, life got in the way. Turned out it was a phone problem, a full factory reset and fresh install fixed the problem. Sorry for the false alarm!
