@Jörgen yes in the app it can be changed BUT you have no option to change it quickly while you’re actually riding. If you read my initial post again you’ll see I had it set to what I wanted. The app crashed/reset and reverted back to miles instead of KM’s. I had nowhere to pull over to then have to mess around with the menus. My thoughts are an option where you touch the units showing on the screen and it would let you change quickly from there. I also post on another thread about have a “automatic” option which means it would default to the units applicable to the country your in

In addition to that, it would be helpful, to have a single button, to save all the app-preferences. When switching to another phone, you could import the settings by click, instead of walk through all the various settings.

It probably won’t help, but I have similar problems from time to time. Same app version and a Zumo XT. Most recently, at the weekend, I tried to send a route to the Zumo via the Drive app. The app says it’s transferring a route, but the progress bar didn’t move. Incidentally, it didn’t matter whether the route came from MRA or Kurviger. Once I got back home and switched the Zumo back on, three routes were transferred straight away, just as normal. So it’s definitely not down to MRA, but rather the interaction between the Drive app and the Zumo. For me, though, it’s not 1 in 5 – more like 1 in 2.

MRA uses HERE provided traffic information. Like most things HERE, you're not getting the highest quality experience relative to the other map providers. Supposedly HERE traffic reporting is going to get better in an upcoming MRA release. Time will tell.

@Jörgen problem solved, it was how to select and deselect (hide) folders/routes, but Hubert found the button spot on.

@Marinus-van-Deudekom Interesting. in the Garmin, "Traffic" is a real-time service that alerts me to conditions up ahead. If an accident happened 10-minutes ago and is backing everything up, I'm alerted on the device. This service has nothing to do with how my route was originally imported into the Garmin and calculated. Traffic related Recalculation can only happen if I allow it. in the Optimize Route navigation setting, I have the "On Request" set. In other words, I'm prompted (asked) if I want to route around the delay. Again, nothing happens unless I say yes to the reroute. If I do nothing, I'll sit with everyone else until the delay is resolved. But again (for emphasis), this has nothing to do with the original import/route calculation. So, please explain the "Traffic info has a serious impact on the way Garmin treats the route".

After a bit of experimentation I've settled on the Dart and Explore combination which gives reasonable contrast and certainly a lot more usable than the default settings.

Just use the nearest gas station as a starting point when you want to share your routes.

To operate tracks isn't the main competence of MRA. May in future...
