@Stevedo-6-0 Ik heb zowel in het Nederlands geschreven – aangezien dat de oorspronkelijke taal van het bericht was – als in het Engels, zodat de lezers het niet hoefden te vertalen. Ik heb ontdekt hoe ik de downvote kan verwijderen; ik wilde gewoon beleefd zijn tegenover @geert-portier, voor het geval hij de downvote zou opmerken. I wrote in both Dutch, as that was first post language, and English, to save readers having to translate, I found out how to remove the downvote, I was just being courteous to @geert-portier in case he noticed the downvote.

@Crispey happy to see - you have detected the difference in the routing engine (list item in "Options") and the map overlays (list item on map). The map overlays don't have any affect to route planning. It's more gore your comfort to read the map. The list items in "Options" makes a difference in routing and gives you the possibility to compare, how your route will looks like if you select: Standard (Open Street map) TomTom HERE (MyRouteApp, Garmin) If you would like to share your route with others (my they uses TomTom) - and you can see, your route changes if you switch from Standard to TomTom - then you can enter more routepoints to force the engine to create same route by both options. If you want to use MyRouteApp Navigation for your ride, you need to plan it with engine HERE, because this the only, the App is navigating a route!

I'm having similar problem with iphone, my routes open as tracks so the roadblock function doesn't show up. Maybe it's the same as yours. I get around it like this, open your route but before clicking navigate click on edit then return to the route and click on the 3 dots to open the menu and the roadblock function is there. If this is the same problem I have asked, in this forum, if it is something wrong in my settings.

@white.mouse Heb ik zaterdag al gedaan. Ik heb contact gehad met Marinus, die zou er vandaag aandacht voor vragen. Ik hoop dat het opgelost gaat worden, blijft vreemd. Ook nog de app op de iPad gezet, zelfde resultaat. Het andere draadje was deze melding bij een route van a naar b, dat werkt bij mijn wel goed.

You cannot change the symbols inside MRA, you can only use the ones that are available inside MRA

Zal zeker mooi zijn als dat wordt toegevoegd via carplay android auto scherm kunt bedienen. Maar niet alleen dat net als vrij rijden en andere fuckties via bediening op het carplayscherm. Ander bijkomstig voordeel zal zijn de hellingshoek je kijkt te veel op op de bovenkant van de kaart en niet naar de horizon waar de volgende afslag zich bevind je moet te veel tekst lezen hoeveel meter de volgende afslag is, daar iriteer ik me mateloos om, de nijging dat ik de afslag links of recht wel eens mis. Geluid heb ik uit staan erger me mateloos aan het stemgeluid onderweg, bijv. retonde recht door of na zoveel meter rechts afslaan, dat is mijn persoonlijke bevindingen. Gebruik al enige tijd MRA maar kan bepaalde fuckties me soms aan ergeren dan wel frustaties opleveren door telkens de smartphone er bij te pakken aangezien bepaalde functies niet te bedienen zijn via het carplay android scherm.

You’re absolutely right. In most cases, I can see it because the point is already quite close to the road. But sometimes I do indeed have to zoom out first to find the correct position. In those cases, it would be easy.

It happens with both my Carpuride devices (so external Android Auto, not built-on) since some time; it has worked in the past and stopped working since one of the last updates. Maybe someone else has seen this, too. Or maybe there's something wrong with my setup (but nothing changed except Google's Android Auto updates and MRA updates). Hi @peha. I think your best bet is to raise a support ticket using the link in the top right-hand corner of this page - https://www.myrouteapp.com/support The fact that @marinus-van-deudekom does not have a problem with AA in his car in no way helps you fix your issue.

I completely agree with this request the ability to have a north up map that can be zoomed is an essential feature for safe navigation. When there is a problem, road closure, incorrect route etc. you need to be able to orient yourself with the ‘map’ and then zoom out to see where you are and decide on the best course of action. I have stopped using MRA when leading group rides as it is too difficult to recover - I use my Garmin Zumo XT. I have raised this with a support ticket with MRA but no answer was given as to when this important feature would come. Can we have a timeframe please? I am at a point where I am thinking of investigating other Navigation clients e.g. OSMAnd Maps, Scenic etc.

Hello, I am using Tread but I do not sync the routes. I just connect it to the PC and transfer the GPX to the SD card. Weather radar works and traffic information. All good. And the route planner on the Garmin is not too bad either. When I plan my trips/routes I use the planner of MyRoute on the computer. Save it and drive. I anyway spend time to generate the routes and after they are ready they will be pushed to the XT3. I do not let the Tread app sync because there can be surprises but I do not need to do this often. And in case I have no option to transfer data I use the Garmin route planner.
