@Hans-van-de-Ven-MR.MRA Dat lijkt mij een juiste conclusie. De vraagsteller zoekt naar een soort zip/unzip mogelijkheid (binnen MRA).

Uit ervaring : als je met de motor rijdt is het de bedoeling om zoveel mogelijk je handen op het stuur te houden voor je eigen veiligheid ( zeker op de wat drukkere banen ). Wat ik doe is een Carpe Iter 7" voor het grote overzicht en daarnaast een iPhone Pro Max voor de details. Voordeel is ook dat als het ene even uitvalt je nog verder kan rijden. Eigenlijk hoef geen duur geld meer te steken in een TomTomRider of een Zumo XT1 en kan je dat beter gebruiken voor een goede iPhone of tablet ! Maar zoals voor elk toestel, zorg ervoor dat het altijd goed gekoeld blijft !

Helaas, net zoals bij de vorige update wil de app niet opstarten. Heb inmiddels een ticket aangemaakt.

Updates worden wel degelijk getest en de oorzaak van de storing is buiten de update om hoewel de timing er mee samen valt Soms gaat alles mis helaas. We zijn er non stop mee bezig, morele ondersteuning is inderdaad alles wat op dit moment mogelijk is. Overigens werken onze 2 premium kaarten HERE / TomTom uiteraard probleemloos.

Also have a look at WunderLINQ I have one of these and it works well for what I need

@Nomko-Nomden I was given the tip to take the photo using your device’s native camera app. The resolution of that photo is much better than the MRA in-app camera functionality. And just before saving the track, add the photos. Don’t ask me why, but the photos really are better when you take them with your device’s native camera app!

@RetiredWingMan Hi, I've done all that....I think....but still can't access the map offline..... I've downloaded the region map but when I try to download the route I don't get the "offline" option on the export scroll wheel just the GPX 1.1 etc. So when I go to use offline mode it says "no routes could be calculated using your offline maps and I need to turn off offline maps. I'm confused! Downloads maps for the region(s). 2. Download the route(s). 3. Set offline opperation / navigation in the options. 4. Start your route navigation

@Rob-Verhoeff Ik probeer in de weitoepassing de route te maken. Maar ik lees nu dat er wat problemen zijn door updates.

We are working on the issue. The issue is with our OSM map. Please use another map if possible.

If we notice a blocked road, and using MRA (with Android Auto), i think having and option on the navigation menu for "blocked road", will be usefull (while driving) I'm in Quebec (Canada), and it's forbiden to touch a phone screen while driving (approx 400$ fine + lost driving licence point) if we got caught doing it. So been able, to use the control on the handle (or any other bluetooth version that exist) and access on the same place we click "stop" to pause our ride.. and been able to select something like "road blocked in front" .. will be a good "nice to have".. as it will tell the MRA to recalculate and go to the next point that is after the blocked road ! I usually look and MRA and gMAPS in the morning before my trip, and adjust to avoid known blockade, closed road (construction).. and sometime after a hudge storm.. avoid those that suffer damage (usually closed anyway)... But sometime.. Surprise.. i'm in front a blocked one i didn't see.. and it's not necessary easy to stop somewhere to change thing (as the Android Auto version as less option that the Phone version)

Save your route in a folder or on your desktop and send it directly to the GPX map on your XT2. Don't use the Tread app as it will completely change your route.
