Bar Buttons problems

Hi,

I had problems with my Bar Buttons yesterday during my trip with the new version on Android.
The input setting is still set on BarButtons.
The problem is mainly with the zoom function.
Sometimes nothing happens while using Zoom; sometimes only 2-3 steps in one direction.
Very strange behavior.

I will try to reproduce today and try to record it.

I think I've already fixed this in the next beta version.

Translating to: "Act normal, that's already crazy enough".

I’m not sure if this is related to the same problem.

I used the bar buttons again on my ride today. At first, everything was fine.
After a long break, I couldn’t open the menu (Code N) any more.
Instead, when I pressed the C button (Code C), this screen appeared?
That’s actually supposed to change the view (like with the compass).

There is still something wrong/strange with the zoom via the BarButtons.
Sometimes the zoom works for 3–4 steps and then stops. You can keep pressing the button, but nothing happens. If you then touch the screen and move the map a little, the zoom suddenly starts working again.

Hi Jörgen, thanks for describing this so precisely, it helped us find it. When the map follows your position, the zoom buttons (BarButtons as well as the on-screen + and -) only nudge the automatic zoom a little. Each press is half a level and the total is limited, so after a few presses it stops. If your Zoom adjustment in the settings is already turned up, you get fewer presses, sometimes none. Once you move the map by hand, the map stops following and zoom has no limit, which is why it seems to start working again.

In topdown mode it works differently.

Ok, understand. So changing the view mode will help to zoom endless in both direction, right?

By the way, it seems that the BarButton homepage is offline. Do you have any information about this project?
