My route is not anywhere near "the sea."

Trying this out, and I input a starting and ending address, using whatever the default (free) map is. Even after removing all restrictions, I was informed my route from TN to MO involved crossing "the sea." That was the "hint" provided to me, but I am sorry to say I need a larger hint, thanks!
Granted, the Mississippi river is significant, and the Ohio river somewhat lesser, but neither would be confused with oceans, and both have highways that cross them. Which I enabled.
How can I get a sense of what this platform can do?
