Skip any upcoming (or multiple) upcoming waypoints

It would be nice to have a feature that allows you to skip any (or multiple) upcoming waypoints during navigation.
Background:
For example (on the routeplanner), I don't want to wait until waypoint 5 to decide whether to skip waypoints 6 and 7; I want to decide earlier.And I want to do this without stopping the route and editing it on the navigation app. Just go into the waypoint list and delete any upcoming WP.
