Layers, stack routes on POI maps

What i would like is layers in the planner so that i can stack POI or WP what i would like in multiple days routes.
My work arround on the moment is that i made, for example, a route map with POI from the cols in the Vosges without any routes and use this to build other routes by make copy's from the POI map. But it would be nice if i can use the POI as layer and above the map were i make a route -
I really don't understand what your suggestion is. You can enable a POI category on the map, is that not what you want?
