Question about membership
-
I am a lifetime gold member. I have a few buddies that I invited to use MRA. 2 of them went on their phones and created an account. The 3rd went on his computer and created an account. I recently started playing with the group and events functions. The 2 guys who did it on their phone, when I send them a join group request it puts a little square at the bottom of the group page with a kind of greyed out figure in the box. I assume this is because it's a pending request? The 3rd guy who used his computer doesn't show a box and not greyed out figure! Now all 3 guys when sent a request don't get anything in their emails, or on their MRA home page. It does say on the group page that there are 2 sent invites, Any ideas? Thanks! See attached pic

I actualy DO get the invite in my mail, just tried to recreate your problem. It is possible though that your friends disabled notifications in their profile:

Also, when logged in, your friends should see a new notification (red dot) on their profile icon.

@Con-Hennekens im not sure about their notification settings, however here is what I see, (see attached pic). He sees nothing on his end, no red dot or anything, but he does appear in my "friends" but shaded out!

20251027_193010.jpg@D-Griffin, Your opening question was about a group membership, but your picture above is about a friends request. Those are completely separate things. If you invite your friend as... well, friend (
), your friend will see this when logged in:
He needs to press the checkmark to accept you as his friend

Als, when taking these steps to help you, I received a mail as notification for the friend request.
So, everything seems to work as intended. The problems you describe sound a lot like your friend hus multiple accounts (probably onaware, it happens a lot), and is looking into the wrong one. -
thank you
