Issue to change waypoint colour and icon?

Hello,

somebody else facing this? When I try to edit the colour of the waypoint the colour picker pops up behind the dialog box and disappears immediately. I tried different browsers like Chrome, Safari and Firefox but there is no difference.

Help please.

@Cookie-On-Tour I have just tested it and cannot find any problems.

Both, changing the colour and changing to a via point or shaping point works.

Tested on my computer (Edge) and also on a mobile phone in the route lab and in the route itself under Routes and Tracklogs.

In Edge when I click the colour palette the colour changes but is sequentially going through a few colours.

In Chrome I see a second "bubble" popping up showing colour fields, but it is behind the dialog bubble, and you can make any choice because it is immediately closing. (However, the colour iterates here too.)

I have made a short video, now I see it is not a dialog with a selection of colors but a second box that shows up and hides again.

It's not a problem for me either.

It works on all platforms - no issue -, see my video what me got distracted, the video shows even more, because it is slower than the original. I took a wrong assumption.

@Cookie-On-Tour my Android tablet does the same thing. Annoying but not a serious problem.

@Cookie-On-Tour the colour of the point is changing in your video so for me it looks like the colour change is working ok,
there is no colour picker window/box, the colours of the point just cycle through the 5 different options

what you are seeing in the background looks like a duplicate/refresh of the standard waypoint info box/window
I can get something similar to occur but have to be zoomed in to a very high magnification (which looks like you are as well) to be able to see it,

Versuch mal die Caches von den Browsern zu leeren. Oft hilft das.

Edit: hängt hinter dieser Dialogbox vielleicht noch ein Waypoint? Sieht so aus, als wird die Dialogbox 2x gezeigt. das mit den Farben ist schon in Ordnung.

Nein, das ist bei mir bei jedem Waypoint so.

An alle hier wie schon oben erwähnt es ist kein Fehler vorhanden, es war eine falsche Annahme meinerseits, bis ich das Video gemacht hatte und darin gesehen habe was wirklich passiert.

To everyone here, as already mentioned above, there is no issue; it was a false assumption on my part until I made the video and saw what really happens.
