Scrolling Through Waypoints
-
@Con-Hennekens thanks mate. The in app planner doesn't offer all the tools of the route lab. I don't know what has changed but hopefully with an update it will sort itself out. Really appreciate your help pal cheers

Indeed. That's the reason both options are there. The in-app planner will never offer the extra TT and OSM maps (they might offer overlay maps though). It is based on the HERE platform, just like Navigation Next, and therefore other sources are not possible or just not allowed. The thought is that mainly people who already use Navigation will have an extra tool and use HERE anyway.

@JP-d I have an old OnePlus 6 laying around and may be able to check it if you like.
@Stefan-Hummelink yes please mate. I'd love to know if it's a Oneplus issue. Cheers

@Con-Hennekens I need the Google maps layer, I need the calculate tool. I'm planning a 15 day tour of Europe and need the waypoints list to work as it previously did. I have found that if I use a large part of my thumb to scroll it isn't as sensitive. But like I said previously even when I clicked on a waypoint in the list it would not take me the map. Now it does, so something has changed...

You are planning a 15 day tour from your phone? That is some next level dedication.

Well, I cannot confirm it to be an OnePlus issue. My OP6 is as fast as before without any issues you seem to have.
sorry dude!

@Corjan-Meijerink yes, because the phone's processor is so fast and I don't have a laptop.
But when I'm planning with my friend on his laptop it's really handy having the waypoints to the left all the time. Especially now I'm having the issue with scrolling through the waypoints.
-
I can't reproduce your issue on my iPhone 13. I can smoothly scroll through all the waypoints. I used a route with 180 waypoints and scrolled through them the way you described. It works perfectly for me. Have you also tried using the in-app planner directly? So without first going to the website and opening the route there?
Edit: On my S24 running Android, you do indeed have to be a bit more careful when scrolling! You're right about that. It does work, but pressing a bit too hard causes the app to open the waypoint you last touched while scrolling. Strange that I donβt have any issue with this at all on iOS.
On the other hand, when I use the in-app planner, I can scroll as much and as wildly as I wantβeven on Android! Would using the in-app planner be something for you to consider?
@Rob-Verhoeff hi Rob, a bit late but finally got round to testing and recording trying to scroll through the waypoints list in the MRA app. As you can see I still have the same problem...
Like I said previously I could scroll normally. I don't know what changed.
I raised a ticket and they said they had no explanation to the glitch.

I have two very different Android phones, and both do not show this problem I see in your video. But indeed, like @Rob-Verhoeff says, why not use the in-app planner?
@Con-Hennekens hello Con lad. Hope you've been well.

I have the same problem with the app. Still can't Scroll. I don't know what changed but I'm guessing it's a bug due to something else being changed or adjusted.

@JP-d I have seen / had this issue in the past & it is exceedingly frustrating when it occurs
but it is not something I can repeat now, all seems to be working fine at present on a Oneplus 8 & Blackview BV7100
no idea whats changed to stop it happening for me -
