trying to plan a route through a timed entry national park - waypoints are blocked - why?
-
Can anyone provide some information on how to plan a route through a timed entry national park. It seems the waypoints will show up, but no track or route data will populate. Anyway to circumvent this or a way to make it work?

@dennis-4m Maybe you can share the route here and make shure it’s set to public

Thanks for the reply, for some reason it all of the sudden decided to provide a route, never had that issue before ... thought it was related to the timed entry park, but I guess not

I encountered the same thing, use a different map skin.
It is a seasonal closure issue, not timed entry.

I thought the map skin made no difference as all the routing is actually calculated using the "Here" map algorithms'.

A time regulated entry is also a kind of seasonal closure. Because seasonal closure is nothting more than a collection name for all types of time regulated closures. Mountain passes is the best known type of time regulated closure (closed in the winter and open in the summer). That is why it is called seasonal closure.
A maplayer should not have any effect on the routing. The map itself (OSM, TomTom or Here) does.
