Unable to select desired voice.

I seem to be stuck with a US English navigation voice . I have repeatedly selected a UK English voice but I still get the US one.
I blame Trump!

@ferrand24gmail-com, what device do you use? And what voice is activated in the devices system settings? I am under the impression that at least the Android App suffers a small bug (sorry @Corjan-Meijerink) that defaults the app back to the Android System voice, despite any audio setting in the app.

@Corjan-Meijerink It occurs even if I am not using Android Auto.
I use Pixel 7a and the voice selected is English UK (voice 12)

I have updated to 4.3.9 and the problem seems to have gone away.
