Friends, Groups, Events

Hi there,
On my iMac, I have added 3 friends, separately I have invited each to the group and each to an event. On the iMac, one is showing in friends, 3 are showing in group & events....
on my iPhone in the Myroute.app:
One is showing in the "friends" tab.
Non are showing in the group (Group is showing no members)
Non are showing in the event (Event is showing no members)
What am I doing wrong or need to change? Should I have invited all 3 to the group and then added the group to the event?
