Waypoint insertion

Route planning: It would be nice if, when adding a waypoint to an existing route, it weren't placed at the end of the list as is currently the case, but rather intelligently integrated into the route. This is already implemented in the myrouteapp.

@Sanktjohanser, the method is: click ON the routeline between the two waypoints you want it in between (the crosshair turns into a waypoint symbol
). Then drag that waypoint to the desired location.

This procedure does not work in the route planner on the iPad. -

This procedure does not work in the route planner on the iPad.Double tap on the route line to add a new sequential route point, you can then drag it to a new position.

@Nick-Carthew
Double-tapping the route creates a new waypoint, but again with the last number on the waypoint list. -
@Sanktjohanser If you are using the website route planner, double tapping on the route line does work, zoom in to make sure you are accurately double tapping on the route line.
If you use the mobile app route planner, a long press on the route line adds a new sequential route point.

Here’s a short video showing the double tap on my iPhone:https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lP2QXt_iXp2c5itmeHZzZkRz8--RyyDp/view?usp=drivesdk

Thank you very much for the info.
Sometimes the correct number assignment works, but not always. Maybe I'm still doing something wrong.
However, I don't think the software has handled this very well. In the app, you can simply add a new waypoint during navigation, which is then incorporated into the route guidance. -
@Sanktjohanser The double tap does take a little practice. The website route planner that you are using is not specifically designed for touch screens. In my opinion It has been adapted well. You also have the option of using a mouse with your iPad.
