I'm running MRA on a 9" Android headunit. There is loads of wasted screen real estate and it would be much better to be able to increases the size of the speed and speed limit signs to use some of it.

I assume this can't currently be done as I can't find any way to do so

Agree. I'm using IOS iphone XR and think that the UI fonts and symbols are too small. Plenty of space. I have a post regarding size of roundabout symbol, exit number, and turn distance font size. Not much interest in changing any of these. I think most users use voice instructions so think the tiny fonts and symbols are fine as they are.

It would be nice if there was a zoom setting for this so users of different screen sizes could choose a size of UI components that suits them. Maybe something the developers could consider in the future.

@Peter-Levis personally I like the current sizes. I don't want the entire screen taken up by symbols etc. The purpose of the navigation software to to show a planned route on a clear easy to read map. I have a speedo and I can read speed limit signs on the side of the road.

        2010 GL1800 Goldwing using Samsung Galaxy S20 5G Android 13.

I too have a speedo and can read road signs but my point is a UI that is user defined to take into account the screen size you are using. On my iphone XR the UI elements could be a little bigger and there would still be plenty of map to see. However someone using a bigger phone could have those elements bigger and still see the map. Up to the individual.
