Newbie: Do I need 2 subscriptions

Hello,

I am currently testing the mobile app and find it very good. However for longer tours I like to plan on the PC. (I use it mostly for motorcycle tours - riding an Africa Twin with CarPlay)
So understanding the concept correctly if I want both worlds, I will need a Gold Subscription to use all the PC/Browser features and the App-Subscription to use the app fully?

Also can you reocmmend what map (Here/TomTom) to use for good twisty motorcycle trip planning?

Hi Thomas, yes you need Gold Subscription to use all the PC/Browser features and for navigation and CarPlay usage one addition.

If you use Navigation Next, you need to use the Here map for planing.

@Thomas-Mikl, That depends. The Navigation subscription alone, lets you plan on the HERE map in the web-planner too. Then you can navigate those routes in the app, and also when you connect it to carplay. You do not get all the bells and whistles in thye web-planner, but those are mainly targeted at planning for multi-platform purposes. You could start planning with Navigation alone, and upgrade to Gold when you find you are missing out on something.
