gMaps and probably many other navigation apps (also Garmin Zumos) have a function that extrapolates your location in case of no GPS reception (like in tunnels). As such you can see approximately where you are in areas of no reception. This is probably based on your speed when you entered the tunnel. Would it be possible to mimic that behavior in MRA Navigation?

I am just an enthusiastic MRA user, and hope you will be one too!

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebar to the saddle.

This is currently already the case.
Very long durations without any GPS might cause the app to get grumpy 😉

To be fair, when driving in the Alps, even Google Maps got stuck in the longer tunnels.

@Corjan-Meijerink, Okay, I was not aware of that. Is it that when the "GPS signal is lost" is thrown, the signal was already lost for some time while the location was extrapolated? I recently saw multiple occasions where it looked like navigation stopped, and 0 km/h was shown. The flyer almost immediately went off big time when entering a tunnel, but that could perhaps be linked to the height setting too.

@Con-Hennekens Indeed, when entering a tunnel and gps is lost the position will be extrapolated.

When the indicator was flying way off route, that is probably related to the other issue.

@Corjan-Meijerink, okay thanks. Does the speedometer indeed say 0 km/h in such a case of extrapolated location?
