Route laat zich niet importeen door teveel routepunten

Ik heb een route van het internet gehaald.
Deze wil ik MRA importeren, maar bij import krijg ik demelding dat er meer dan 200 routepunten zijn en dat je deze route daarmee niet kunt importeren.
Hoe los ik dit op?

Bewuste Route is : 13@MR-1600GTL Importeer het als een tracklog. Vervolgens kunt u het converteren naar een route door op + Gebruiken als route te klikken.
Import it as a tracklog. Then you can convert it to a route by clicking + Use as route.

Sounds great yet I know of only one way of importing these routes. How do I import it as track log? <Sorry, found it>But now that I have the tracklog, how do I make a route of that?
When I try to import the GPX (1.1) file I get an error saying that the file doesn't contain any waypoints.
<Sorry, found it. Okay, got that fixed as well. Import as track. And from there edit as route.

I do it this way on the forum so other people, with the same issue, might have use of this.
