eliminate bottom navigation bar

Hi, is it possible to eliminate the path bar at the bottom which I practically never use and it covers that small part at the bottom of the screen and bothers me?!!

No, currently not I am afraid. It has been suggested before, to make it hideable. Probably something that will get picked up when the dev attention shifts towards the web planner.
