Country is not recognized for tracklogs
-
Hi,
I have some tracklogs, for which the country isn't recognized.
Is this a bug or does anyone have a solution?regards,
HeinzPS

@Heinz-Navratil
If the Tracklogs are sourced from the TET, very often, they show no Country because in some instances the border is slightly incorrect and it sits in 2 Countries.
I am not sure if it is MRA causing this or the TET itself. -
@Lynchy67
thank you for your response.
I don´t know what you mean with TET, do you mean "Tran Euro Trail"?
The tracks are recorded tracks from my tour and are recorded with a Garmin Zumo 595 and I rode no off-road roads and the tracks are are definitely within one country (Italy).regards,

Yes I was referencing the Trans Euro Trail.
Not relevent here though, sometimes moving the first waypoint slightly might then show the Country. -
This is something the developers at MRA need to investigate, because if I convert a tracklog of yours into a route, the country is not recognized either.

Hi Hans,
thank you for your response.
I created a ticketbest regards,

I made a ticket also for an issue with the time stamp in tracklogsIf I import a track to MRA, the track has the time from the UTC time zone and not from the local time zone where the track was recorded.
I´m not sure if I would be the only one who want the correct time in the track info,
but I think it would be nice to have the correct time in the track informations. -

@Hans-van-de-Ven-MRA-Master pure magic. Now the Country is visible.

If anyone is using the TET Tracks (Trans Euro Trail) then in many cases you will not see the Flag or it may be the wrong one.
The Example below is the Belgium TET 04 Tracklog.
It clearly starts in France.
