Map not following arrow

The map doesn't follow the arrow/pointer the map iremains on the first section of the route. Although the directions are still showing in the corners.
I am using an android phone and have checked all the settings.
Also the old navigation app us still working should I be using this? -

This can happen if you've (accidentally) moved the map yourself, even slightly. Does it go back to following if you tap the compass?

This can happen if you've (accidentally) moved the map yourself, even slightly. Does it go back to following if you tap the compass?
