Copying a route
-
I have made a route with over 40 waypoints but would like to reproduce it as a separate route rather than re create another 40 point route. The reason is that the weather may not favour the whole route so i will cut it in half. I know that split route is an option but the route we are completing is a circular route.

@Colin-Hodgkinson, and what exactly is the problem? A circular route does not prevent it from splitting, does it?

@Con-Hennekens I hear what you are saying but splitting this route will actually make two separate routes.

@Colin-Hodgkinson Make a copy of the original route and split the copy. Let’s say that you split your 40 route point route at number 20.
The first of the 2 split routes 1 - 20 would be your alternative route, I would adjust the route name and plot the route from RP20 back to your start point. -

@Colin-Hodgkinson Actually, you don’t need to make a copy of the original route as the two split routes are new routes.
