New Beta! (v3.2.13)
-
Hi everybody!
We've got a nice new update for you! This time, we paid a little more attention to Android (no worries iOS users, we also got some CarPlay improvements).
Position indicator
Some testers made some fun that if I had a few hours left, we should be able to add customisation options to the position indicator. Some want a different color, some want the circle to be visible and others are happy with how it is. Rejoice! More customisation optionsCarPlay
The changes above als apply to CarPlay!
Furthermore, the issue where sometimes an incorrect (the previous) maneuver was shown, has been fixed!
Also, CarPlay now also uses the new (correct) roundabout icons.External storage (Android)
If you don't have enough capacity on your phone and need to use external storage, that's possible!Android stability
The same issue iOS had last week (https://forum.myrouteapp.com/topic/3721/ios-3-2-12-issue) which resulted in an immediate update, also caused some (less obvious) issues on Android. This now also has been fixed.
But most importantly! The issue which resulted in random crashes over the past months when using the app / starting your navigation has been fixed! This means that as this point, Android should have a good stability.Have a great weekend and we're looking forward to all your feedback as usual
Cheers,
Corjan & Joost -
@Corjan-Meijerink great update! Thx MRA-team! ️
Will the cursor also be bigger or will that require 4 more hours? -
@Bart-DM might add that too

Great update for Android.
The search functionality crashes seem to be resolved.
I can now search for Post Codes, Favourites and Towns etc etc.
The Red Position Indicator looks great and really stands out for my ageing eyes. -
Awesome on the updates!
Since I leave in the AM when it's still dark out, when do you expect an update so CarPlay is in dark mode? It's to bright now. -
@Corjan-Meijerink heel leuk is de update reeds beschikbaar
-
@Pete-Fredette not sure when
-
@Corjan-Meijerink Today I spent a few hours navigating with the app while charging the smartphone with a Quad Lock wireless charger on my motorcycle. At the end of the ride, the phone's battery was charged to 100% and the device did not feel hot. So
-
@Bart-DM yes same with my iPhone 12 last weekend , 5 hours ride and no discharge or heat
-

@Corjan-Meijerink Undoubtly a stupid question: how can I get the update to v3.2.13?
I tried both the TestFlight App and the App Store App: no success. -
@Dikke-Wim Apple is normally a few hours after android before it’s released
-
@Dikke-Wim Via TestFlight, but the update isn’t available yet… it takes a few hours.
-
@Bart-DM Thanks! Good to know.
-
@Bart-DM Even after 12 hrs: Still no update available... Am I doing something wrong?
-
@Dikke-Wim no, update isn’t available yet… on iOS
-
Could still not find the update, but checked and I see it has been installed automatically (Android).
Offline maps needed an update, but would not complete that update.
After clearing data an cache I was able to re-download the maps. -
@Dikke-Wim you will automatically be notified on TestFlight, give it some time No need to panic.
-
@Corjan-Meijerink I don't panic, but admit it does take a long time this time
