Hi everyone, noting all the crashes for iOS users I've pulled the latest release from Testflight. Currently I'm in the progress of uploading a new version to Testflight with a fix for the issue. Hopefully we'll get this new release to you guys by tomorrow morning!

You probably are getting used to weekly updates by now. Obviously we want you to enjoy the sunny weather
and what better way to that on the bike with a freshly updated app 
This update has quite some nice changes!
Improved roundabout exit indication
Finally! A massive frustration for quite some users. Our roundabouts always assumed symmetrical exists. But no, that is barely ever the case. The roundabout exits now show exactly what direction the exit is you need to take including the correct exit number
Offline routing
Who is looking forward to a internet free drive? I am!
If you've downloaded the offline maps of the region you are driving through, you can now use the app completely in offline mode. The long awaited setting for this has now been activated.Routing somewhere and you don't have the offline maps for that location? The app will ask you to go online!
Routing somewhere and your internet connection is gone? The app will ask you to go offline!
Other changes
- Position indicator circle color / visbility
- Improved camera behavior for a better depth view in landscape mode (and CarPlay)
Bug fixes
- Issue where route would recalculate after passing a waypoint
- Position location indicator on screen not always correct after rotating
- Compass button not always reacting to a tap
- Menu button not always opening the menu / not able to interact with items on map
That's it for now!
We continue working on the battery drain / position delay / Android stability / Android Auto!
Besides that we obviously process all your feedback and continue checking other requirements such as in this update

Team MRA@Corjan-Meijerink I was able to test the latest ๏ฃฟ version properly today. Everything works fine, also the new depth view on CarPlay is a big step forward
.I do have one small request: can the navigation arrow in the app (not in CarPlay) be made a bit bigger? In CarPlay it's perfect, but in the app I really think it's a bit too small.

@Rob-Verhoeff Iโm having the same problem on my iPhone 14 with latest iOS. Did not try your workaround yet.

@Bart-DM could you create a separate suggestion for that, easier to keep track of. Please include a screenshot of your pretty ass CarPlay resolution screen.
The position indicator is not resolution aware, that would be the fix

The new version seems more stable, however there is an issue, it is very laggy in updating the position. The voice announcements are on point while the current position is still not updated. Even the tracklog sometimes is updated before the current position, leading to the yellow trail going ahead of the icon. This is a problem when you turn right and immediately to the left.
The Offline maps require an update but there is no indication if it is downloaded or not. There is no progress indication. First time when I entered the offline maps category all the maps were there and the "Download update" on top. I clicked it, nothing happened, two hours later when I enter the same category, there are no maps anymore, just the button and a text "A map update is mandatory before you can continue...". Now is on "Downloading update", I don't know if I can exit this screen, is it downloading in background? How much time will take? Is it updating the maps themselves or something else, because I had the whole Europe downloaded? With no progress bar I don't know what to do...

Position delay is a known issue and we are working on that
Regarding the offline maps - we will improve this in a future update. Unfortunately we cannot show a progress indicator (yet) for those updates. Some stupid technical limitation. But yes, if it shows itโs downloading, it will continue in the background.

Did a perfect test today. Not with CarPlay but on the bike and offline. Since I hate voice commands, I have no problems with that. They are off

@StefanHummelink I want to follow a route. Don't pin-point execatly to the spot. As you probably now, a route through the Alps doesn't require that on the spot positioning. iOS also has a bit of lag in positioning, but not as massive as I read in som posts.

@StefanHummelink itโs a problem on all platforms! If youโre driving routes on backroads (like I also did in Luxembourg last week and Rob now in the Alps), you just donโt notice it that much. There just arenโt that many alternative roads

How many people are actively developing this app? I know @Corjan-Meijerink and Joost, but it is incredible to think this is a two-man show, especially with the large amount of Corjan's forum presence (which is greatly valued btw!).@Con-Hennekens

What is very funny (well, imho that is...) about the massive lag, is that the voice does NOT seem to be effected. We drove a route yesterday, and it struck me that voice guidance is spot-on, while the screen position lags massively (@Corjan-Meijerink, yeah Brabantse platteland has more sideways and crossings then Ardennes and Alps I guess
