What am I doing wrong?
-
Without a doubt this is user error.
On my iPhone, when I import a route into the MyRoute app, I can start the route instantly by simply touching on the ‘arrow’ on the bottom right of the screen:
And away I go, without a problem:
But on my Android Samsung S10 I cannot see:
A. The ‘arrow’
B. Any way to start the route
Many thanks,
Richard

I will move this topic and post to the beta test area.

Hi Richard,
S10 5G here too.
Are you saying that on Android, you are not seeing the first screen with the Blue Start and End boxes.
You didn't show this screen for Android? It shows for me as below.
-
What I see on my Android S10 phone is this:
As you can see it lacks the ‘arrow’. I can see no way to start the route at all.
Your screen shot, which clearly shows the ‘arrow’ button on the right, just as it is on my iPhone:
My screen shot, taken on my Android S10, with clearly no ‘arrow’
It’s the lack of the arrow which is confusing me, as I cannot see any other way to start the route running.

@Richard-18 What version of the app you using on Android? I am waiting on Beta access from the team even though Google Play says beta for the app.
I am only on version 3.2.4 on Android.I have been signed up for the beta for iPhone from the start and that is on version 3.2.9 and has the navigation arrow. The earlier Android version that I am waiting to update from was the early version before navigation was added. Probably wise to raise a support ticket. I did that and the issue should be resolved this next week when I get added to the list to authorise proper beta access. Follow the advice in the Pinned thread here
You might also have to sign up for the beta for Android - I did this too which support said was the right thing to do.

Indeed, iOS & Android require different registration processes. Please complete the required steps (see shared forum posts earlier) or contact support

Strangely, just after I took the screenshot above on Android which clearly shows I had Gold access and Next Beta access.
Android then logged me out.
After logging back in I now have an Android Basic account.
I created a support Ticket #40001
My Android MRA Account email is in the support Ticket. -
Thank you.
I suspected that it was definitely user error.
I had registered for a separate ‘licence’ to test the Beta Android version, in addition to my ‘licence’ to test the IOS version. I then forgot!

I can now confirm that it was, as I suspected, all user error on my part. I had forgotten that you have to register separately to test both the IOS and Android apps.
Now that I have loaded the Beta test app onto my Android S10 phone, it works perfectly.

@Richard-18 Happy to hear!
