Battery drain.

I’ve noticed the battery drain is huge on an I phone.
This occurs in a few circumstances.- App is closed but background refresh is enabled- this is very heavy on battery and is killing a fresh charge in a half day.
- App is open but not navigating.
- App is being used for navigation. I also use several other apps including scenic, Waze, and Tom Tom. None of these use anything close to what my route is using.

@John-Fennessy-0 What is the app version you are using? This can be found at the account page, down at the bottom

3.2.7 149@John-Fennessy-0 Ah great, so it concerns the Beta. 3.2.8 will have a potential fix for this! We aim to release it end of the week.
Please post the problems on the Beta section of the forum next time to prevent confusion

Interested in the new version to stop battery drain on an iPhone. Without actively using latest MRA Next version on my iPhone 14 (iOS 16), it uses more then 26% of my battery in 9 hours after a full battery.

@Arno-0 there's a significant improvement. See also this related topic.

Checked battery usage of both my OnePlus 6T and iPhone 14 when MRA Next is not used for navigation but just idle in the background. With "location always on" on both smartphones, Android does not use any power from the battery while iOS uses a lot. With "location on only when using the app" both do not use any power.
