Holding the zoomed position while continuing to navigate

If I zoom in or zoom out while navigating a route, I would like the application to hold that zoom ratio during further navigation (so I expect my location remains neatly centered on the screen and the map continues to scroll) until I choose a different zoom ratio or manually reset it to default.
Currently the map freezes and my position moves away from the center until it finally disappears off the screen (or am I missing a function that is already implemented somewhere?)

@R-H Tap the compass icon to re-centre the view. If the compass icon is not visible tap the screen to see it.

Hi @Nick-Carthew , I know that tapping the compass icon will re-center on the current location. My wish however is that the application would keep using the specific zoom ratio (which results from my manual zoom in/out during navigating).

genau so würde ich mir es auch wünschen, ist ein sehr sehr guter Hinweis, so kenne ich es auch von anderen Navi Lösungen …

@Next Team: was meint Ihr dazu, bzw. was wollt ihr uns dazu sagen ?

We do plan to keep the current dynamic zooming the default behavior.
On lower speeds / at intersections / more complex junctions / etc.. you would want a more detailed zoom level which is now all taken care off.

I do understand the wish for a predefined zoom level and will add this to our list of community request - it however will not be a priority at this point
