@Fidde-Friberg Welcome Fidde. I’d heard of the Wildstar but never actually seen one. I had to google it. Cool bike.

@Ken-Clarkson I use a Zumo 390 and can export routes created in MRA to it with no problem whatsoever, including the route accurately following roads and with all waypoints intact, and have put them to use with complete success. In the Connector, be sure to select .gpx 1.0 as the file type, not .gpx 1.1. In my experience, using 1.1 files will result in those straight lines on the 390 - I think these are best left to the Zumo XT and, possibly (though I'm not certain) the 396 and 595 models. I hope this helps. Please let us know how you get on

As can be seen from the above, part of my ‘phobia’ stems from being rubbish at ‘foruming’!

@BETTY-cazzarin said in Newbie: best route to take Welcome on board! Maybe sems like an odd question but what do yuo mean with "best route to take". The fastest route, the most beautiful sightseeing route?

@Massimo-Campanardi Ciao e benvenuto al Forum MRA. Se hai domande e sei in grado di scrivere in inglese, potresti ottenere più risposte. In caso contrario, c'è una sezione dedicata al Self Service italiano.

@Nachtmann If you add a few more route points to your route a .gpx route will behave in the same way as a .itn route.

Hi @Freddie-Lyttle and welcome to the forum. You have one of the easiest sat navs to export routes to. Firstly, you need to have a TomTom MyDrive account set up. Once you have your route planned out in MRA (tip: fully zoom in to each route point to check that they are positioned correctly on the road) select Save as and then choose TomTom MyDrive (beta). Your route will then travel wirelessly to your Rider 550 without the need to plug it in. Good luck and happy planning.
