Changing route over land into using ferry

The route that I made needed some adjustments. We already planned a few other ferry crossings, without any problems. But changing another point of departure and thus using another ferry seems to be a problem. The program only allows me to make changes over land and doesn't give me the opprtunity to change the distance into a stretch oversea by ferry....

What profile do you use? When you use the motorcycle profile, change it to car. You can also add shapingpoints at the start and end of the ferry.
