Default zoom correction - AA/CP
-
Hi @Corjan-Meijerink ,is it possible to enhance the zoom for Android Auto as is for CarPlay ?
I tested with S24Ultra and iPhone 13, both with Default Zoom Correction set at +2.0 and you can see the difference.
I noticed that on Android, moving from +0.6 to +2.0 nothing changes on AA screen.Android Auto

Interested in what you do experience on the Samsung and Apple telephones. Is there a sufficient zoom? On my IPhone 13 I have a sufficiënt zoom but CarPlay doesn’t follow that at all.

@Gos-Kuus If I were to use Samsung and Apple for navigating, the zoom level is sufficient !
But issue appears when using Android Auto where zoom is not enough, even if I set it to maximum from the app.
On CarPlay, it zooms in perfectly ! -
I believe this issue will be fixed in the 4.3.9 update planned for next week!

I found that if you touch the arrow icon and change the view to dynamic camera when you start the navigation, then the auto zoom seems to work on my Android Auto unit. I am using a Pixel 9 Pro phone. hope that helps

@Jonathan-1f, that is by design. Hence the name "Dynamic view".
Top Down and North Up both have only manual zooming.
(Although a request for change has already been proposed).
