Default navigation app in iOS

I read last week that in the new iOS version 18.4 which is now in beta, you can select your default navigation app in iOS. The suppliers do need to prepare for this so you can choose any navigation app installed on your iPhone.

Is the MRA team aware of this and will you make MRA Next one of the navigations app to be selected?

We will definitely support this!
Not sure if it's supported immediately (automatically) but we will ensure in an update that we do.

I believe, it could be done soon. Actually, I have seen someone, who could talk to Siri to do a phone call on iPhone to ChatGPT, and transmit the question. Then ChatGPT was answering by speech...

@Guzzist I already use Siri via my Sena Headset. I can start phone calls, sent WhatsApp messages, I can save my current location with comment via short command "Kurz Befehl".
I can ask Siri about the weather and more. And since some weeks I use ChatGPT via Siri for more options. This all during riding and hands-free.

With Siri you can start a navigation via Apple Maps. If you now can make MRA the default navigation App. MRA needs to be able to take these commands and start a route.
Let's see what the future brings.
