Spanish ZBEs
-
Not a navigating question, but relates to touring.
I am planning a trip to Spain in September and an EU site says that Granada and Valencia will have low emission zones(ZBE) by then. And that foreign vehicles need a sticker. On the city websites I can see information about the ZBEs but nothing about foregn vehicles.
Has anyone got any more information, or links to the relevent websites to get a sticker if needed. Thanks -
@Tony-13 According to the Spanish Department of Transportation, is is not possible to order a Spanish sticker, but stickers from some other countries (notably Austria, France and Germany) are accepted. This site lists the relevant comparable stickers: https://www.dgt.es/muevete-con-seguridad/viaja-seguro/conduce-en-el-extranjero/ (scroll down for a visual comparison).
The cheapest option is probably to order a French Crit'Air sticker online, if you don't already have a suitable one. This can be done online here: https://www.certificat-air.gouv.fr This sticker is also valid in France (duh!) and the Geneva low emission zone in Switzerland.
