Welchen sollte ich denn löschen, den älteren laut Zeitstempel ️

Aber eines steht fest nur über erhaltene Route speichern und dann über Upload importieren nur dann werden alle Infos übertragen.

Farben der WP gehen aber trotzdem verloren…

Ein sauberer Austausch kann wohl nur innerhalb der MRA erfolgen

But one thing is fixed only via saved route and then via upload import only then all information is transferred.

But colors of the WP are still lost...

Colours and such are definitely lost when using regular GPX files.
Sorry, I have absolutely no clue what's going on.

The app can store files in the MyRoute-app folder but it's not really recommended to place files there. That's why you probably got 2. One managed by the app, the other because you placed files manually. Upon reinstall the storage location of the app is changed causing this folder to be replaced (done automatically by iOS). The fact that you added files yourself will result in iOS keeping the one where you added stuff yourself.

I still don't understand why you cannot import GPX files from other locations. But you were able to open one directly from whatsapp?

Hey Corjan,

I have tested a lot again. I summarize each step individually.

The basic route consists of 95 WP incl. 10 Via points on the route, incl. Via Start and Via Destination. The test format was always 1.1_GPX.

Test 1: Basic route exported via MyRouteApp, sent to a WhatsApp contact

I then received this route directly via WhatsApp. If you then click on this route in WhatsApp and then share it with the MyRouteApp, the route opens, but the 10 Via WP is missing on the route. The route has 95 WP but only the Via Start and Via Destination WP.

Test 2: Basic route exported via MyRouteApp, the file saved as a file on the mobile phone / iCloud.

I then clicked on this file in the corresponding drive, here the said error message always comes, but sometimes you can still load the route, content then as in test 1, the 10 Via WP is missing on the route.

Test 3: Basic route exported via MyRouteApp, the file saved as a file on the mobile phone / iCloud.

MyRouteApp and loaded this file as a route via Upload. All 95 WP will be transferred as in the original incl. the 10 Via Punte on the route incl. Via Start and Bia Ziel.

Test 4: Basic route received via WhatsApp, not shared but now the file saved as a file on the mobile phone / iCloud.

Conclusion: You have to go through upload to get all route content such as the additional Via WP.

ich habe noch einmal einiges getestet. Ich fasse jeden Schritt einzeln mal zusammen.

Die Basis Route besteht aus 95 WP inkl. 10 Via Punkte auf der Route, inkl. Via Start und Via Ziel. Das Format zum Test war immer 1.1_GPX.

Test 1: Basis Route über MyRouteApp Exportiert, dabei an einen WhatsApp Kontakt gesendet

Diese Route habe ich dann direkt per WhatsApp erhalten. Klickt man dann in WhatsApp auf diese Route und Teil es dann mit der MyRouteApp, öffnet sich die Route, es fehlen allerdings die 10 Via WP auf der Route. Die Route hat 95 WP aber nur noch den Via Start und Via Ziel WP.

Test 2: Basis Route über MyRouteApp Exportiert, dabei die Datei als Datei auf dem Handy / iCloud gespeichert.

Diese Datei habe ich dann im entsprechenden Laufwerk angeklickt, hier kommt dann immer die besagte Fehlermeldung, manchmal jedoch kann man trotzdem die Route laden, inhaltlich dann wie im Test 1, es fehlen die 10 Via WP auf der Route.

Test 3: Basis Route über MyRouteApp Exportiert, dabei die Datei als Datei auf dem Handy / iCloud gespeichert.

MyRouteApp geöffnet und über Upload diese Datei als Route geladen. Es werden alle 95 WP wie im Original inkl. der 10 Via Punte auf der Route inkl. Via Start und Bia Ziel übertragen.

Test 4: Basis Route über WhatsApp erhalten, nicht geteilt aber jetzt dabei die Datei als Datei auf dem Handy / iCloud gespeichert.

MyRouteApp geöffnet und über Upload diese Datei als Route geladen. Es werden alle 95 WP wie im Original inkl. der 10 Via Punte auf der Route inkl. Via Start und Bia Ziel übertragen.

Fazit: Man muss über Upload gehen um alle Routeninhalte wie die zusätzlichen Via WP zu erhalten.

Test 5:

If I manually copy the test basic route into the "MyRoute-app" folder to be found on iOS, these messages come, and the result is like test 1, the 10 Via WP is missing in the route again. The route is automatically deleted by the app at the end of the action also in the MyRoute app Ortner.

Wenn ich die Test Basis Route in den unter iOS zu findenden „MyRoute-app“ Ordner per Hand kopiere dann kommen diese Meldungen, und das Ergebnis ist wie zu Test 1, es fehlen wieder die 10 Via WP in der Route. Die Route wird am Ende der Aktion auch im MyRoute-app Ortner automatisch durch die App gelöscht.

From my point of view and the modest knowledge from the many tests until I had even found a stop, the problem is probably with the folder "MyRoute-app" and the import function of the MRA with the detour via this one "MyRoute-app" folder.

Whenever it goes over this folder, the route is pinched when importing, and probably only passed as a route track. Via WP is probably lost in the route

Aus meiner Sicht und dem bescheidenen Wissen aus den vielen Tests bis ich überhaupt mal einen Anhalt gefunden hatte, liegt das Problem wohl beim Ordner „MyRoute-app“ und der Import Funktion der MRA mit dem Umweg über diesen einen „MyRoute-app“ Ordner.

Immer wenn es über diesen Ordner geht wird die Route beim Importieren gekniffen, und nur wohl als Routen-Track übergeben. Dabei gehen Via WP in der Route wohl verloren

When clicking on a good route in a normal own routes folder on the mobile phone, this error message always appears. This is also the case if you open foreign routes via a download folder and click on this file in the direction of MRA or transfer it directly to MRA by clicking on the download.

Beim Klick auf eine gute Route in einem normalen eigenen Routen Ordner auf dem Handy kommt immer diese Fehlermeldung. Das ist auch dann so wenn man fremde Routen über einen Download Ordner und Klick auf diese Datei in Richtung MRA öffnet oder beim Download direkt per Klick an MRA übergibt.

Error isolation "Click on GPX file" on iPhone / iPad

Hey Corjan,
I'm sorry for a first interim result here, when I simply click on a GPX file, I always get the error message shown above on my three devices, here twice an iPhone Xr and once an iPad 9th generation. But not on a foreign iPad 9th generation that I've just tested.

Error isolation:
This seems to be due to unknown settings in the Apple app "Files" or in my Apple account?
I've tried everything but I can't find a solution, even deleting the app "Files" doesn't help.

The example file here is in the same shared iCloud directory but is displayed differently. The icon and the one file extension in image 1 on my iPad are noticeable.

There the file has the extension .gpx and so this one error message keeps coming up

Fehlereingrenzung "Klick auf GPX Datei" bei iPhone / iPad

Hey Corjan,
entschuldige hier ein erstes Zwischenergebnis, beim einfachen Klick auf eine GPX Datei, kommt an meinen drei Geräten, hier zweimal ein iPhone Xr und einmal ein iPad 9. Generation immer diese schon gezeigte Fehlermeldung. Aber an einem jetzt getesteten fremden iPad 9. Generation nicht.

Fehlereingrenzung:
Dieses liegt scheinbar an unbekannten Einstellungen in der Appel App "Dateien" oder in meinem Appel Account ?
Ich habe schon alles versucht aber ich finde keine Lösung, auch das Löschen der App "Dateien" hilft nicht.

Die Beispieldatei hier liegt im gleichen geteilten iCloud Verzeichnis aber wird unterschiedlich dargestellt. Auffällig ist das icon und die eine Datei Endung beim Bild 1 also auf meinem iPad.

Dort hat die Datei die Endung .gpx und damit kommt immer wieder diese eine Fehlermeldung

Bild 2 von dem iPad meiner Frau, dort geht es ohne Fehlermeldung, jedoch verhält es sich so das in der Route die 10 Via WP fehlen, also die original Route wie unter WhatsApp auch zu einem Route-Track wird in dem die 10 Via WP fehlen.
