Animate - route order

I want to upload a public animated route, with junction photos etc., for a short run I'm doing. The return route is mainly the reverse of the outgoing route. The animation appears to display the route wayponts in geographical order, rather than waypoint order. So, the last way point is displayed immediately after the first way point etc. etc. Is there a way of forcing the animation to display the route in way point order.
