Route Violation
-
Hi, I had an issue the other day when I missed the exit, I was on the Highway and got this messages (because I had "Avoid motorway" on).
It is ok so far, but I can not stop on the highway to tap on the X to close this window. It covers the speed information.
It would be useful if it could be displayed blinking e.g. 5 sec. on 5 sec. off
Otherwise, it is too dominant and disturbs. -
Hello, I suffered the same problem on my last trip. The route was planned to avoid tolls but one of the days we needed to take a toll highway to reduce time. That section of toll lasted several kilometers and the "Route violation" message remained permanently on the screen. Even if I clicked on the 'X' the message constantly and permanently reappeared and covered the distance/time information until the next point. As the colleague indicates, it would be convenient for the message to appear for a while (about 5-10 seconds) and disappear automatically. It makes no sense to have it permanently on the screen covering up important information. If for some reason you did not have time to see the message, warning icons appear on the route telling you that there is something wrong

I had this the other day again, and wish that this will be changed, as bluetuz said into display some seconds and disappears.

I had this issue again. Because of false information in Here maps, the road was closed, but it was not.
- I would like that this "Routenverstoß" message should not cover the Route information box.
- It would be useful if this message disappears in some time. (or was blinking if this was the only place to display).
- And in case of false information it would be useful if this could be switched off. to take this road anyway.
I remember TomTom Rider Time, for this issue you could restart the Rider with switched off live traffic information, and then you could drive these streets however.

Don’t think we will change anything soon about this.
You can turn it off completely! -

Ok, I will try this.
In a first step and easy step, you could move the warning position a little higher.

@Corjan-Meijerink Sorry Corjan, but it doesn't seem like a good solution to deactivate it completely. Perhaps, if you deactivate it, during the route there are other sections where the original route is violated and it would be convenient to know about it, which you would not be able to do if you deactivated it completely. I don't think it's right that a message is permanently obstructing information. In fact, that message allows you to close it but it is displayed again immediately. What is the use of the close button then? I think you should rethink a solution.
All this always with respect and trying to contribute so that Next improves -
@bluetuz totally understand, no worries
The information obstruction is only the ETA really, not that essential all the timeI do agree that closing it needs it to remain closed, I’ll check that later!

@Corjan-Meijerink Great!!! Thank you

I've thought about this problem again and had an idea, but haven't tried the idea yet.
You would have to interrupt the online connection, as I used to do with the TomTom Rider in the past with a similar issue, so that any closures cannot be included in the route calculation in the first place.
With MRA, you would have to download the route beforehand so that it is available offline and, of course, the maps for this region would also have to be downloaded.
Then switch MRA to offline mode and load the route again. It may also be necessary to temporarily disable the data download. -
The issue where a warning would not remain closed after dismissing it, has been fixed for the next update!
