    I am wondering if it would be possible for the creating team to create a possiblility to be able to put POI's randomly on the map without them being a waypoint. Just like you can in Google Earth. So that when thinking of a route you can mark places of interest - but not having waypoints. Preferably these POI' you can drop anywhere on the map can have different colousr to indicate their level of interest (eg must see to would be nice).

    As an Overlander to me this would be very useful. Now I have to drop my points of interest in Google Maps and transfer them later on to MRA. It would be so very nice if I could skip that step.

      @Inge-Bakermans That's already possible: when you select a POI from one of the categories and you click "Place POI", it will ask you if you want to add it to your route as a waypoint, as a POI or both.

        @Inge-Bakermans
        You can take a look at the Manual POI's

        I use this function regularly, but it has the disadvantage that you cannot record much information about the point.
        In general I also make a lot of my own POI lists. You can ultimately select these when creating all your routes.

          @Herko-ter-Horst Thanks! However, that only works for the already indicated/ categorized poi's - but it would be so nice to simply drop a pin anywhere on the map.

          The categorized POI's are only in blue - still missing colours. Think I should have change the word POI into PIN to be maybe more clearer.

            @Jack-van-Tilburg Thanks jack that muight a bit like I am looking for - though it would be brilliant if one could assign colours to self added POI's or pins.
