Try to initiate a route that is stored in the tablet's internal memory rather than on the memory card. If that works, you'll know what the issue is.

I'm re-downloading the map of the region and I'll try it later -

it works again after re-downloading the map of this region. It's good but it's worrying if an update loses the links to the downloaded maps!

@Calibos
@developerIt would be necessary to be able to view the list of maps accessible offline. or like the background certain software a different color for the region available offline.
And above all understand why these cards lost their links with the application following the update -
hi @Calibos
i had a very similar issue, after downloading the latest map update.
for example, i select a favourite to navigate to, and a pop up reads this cannot be calculated or similar words.
i only ever use offline mode when navigating, but after the update it would not calculate any route.
the only way to rectify the problem was to delete the maps then download again, I then rebooted the app and all worked perfectly.hopefully this will help others in the future.

I'm re-downloading the map of the region and I'll try it later@Calibos, What I THINK is happening is that you updated the app to a version that is no longer compatible with the offline maps you had for the previous version. I think you need to update the maps before you do anything else.
There have been added some features to the app that depend on newer maps. Also the current SDK has been upgraded multiple times since summer, and often a map update is obligated after that.
@Corjan-Meijerink, do you agree with this? If so it could be very helpful to do a map-check after an app-update. At the moment you only see map updates if you actively look for it in the menu. Therefore it can happen to run behind with the map version.
-
I agree, it appears that recent updates require updated maps.
-
Ok updating the map fixed the problem. Only if I hadn't checked in the evening before leaving, I simply wouldn't have been able to sail with mra this weekend.
If in fact the version of the application requires a reloading of the maps then there should be an alert message when launching the app about the need to update the maps.Another point as I asked a little above would be to have a way to view the cards present in offline mode on the device because here it is impossible to know if my cards still used in the fall were lost or present on my tablet.

Maps you downloaded are marked with a check-mark.
Or do I misunderstand what you mean? -

Indeed, the check mark represents downloaded maps or maps updated with the latest version. in my example, I no longer saw checkmarks on my cards and yet they were there.To make mra work again I downloaded only France and when I returned from my trip I updated all of Europe to download... and since then I have all the maps of Europe up to date except France , Italy and the United Kingdom!!! I don't know why this situation.
My route cannot be calculated offline again.
It's just an unbearable situation. Looks like the Europe update deleted my previously downloaded map of France and now it is no longer seen by the system.
This map update is depressing!This application is great but there are still some things that really don't work well when using it. I had deliberately not updated my maps so as not to be confronted with the problem but without updating the maps the app no longer works.

@Calibos in the earlier versions of the app, each up date meant the only way I could use the app was to completely uninstall the app (testFlight as well), reboot the phone (iPhone), reinstall app, and download maps.
thankfully, it seems that bug/issue has been long resolved.
However, because of that, immediatley after an update, I automatically default to updating maps and I've not had the routing issues you are experiencing.
**ironically, actually updating maps as we speak.

@Calibos, that is indeed a strange thing. You are right, there is definitely some improvements to make concerning the offline maps. Did you by any change download new maps, while there were updates on previously downloaded maps? This is what I am guessing: By doing the above the system parameter that determines the map-version gets updated while not all previously downloaded maps actually have that version. This way it probably still can happen to have older maps not compatible with the current SDK without any warning about a version conflict.
For the time being, I think it is wise to redownload existing maps while installing new maps. This to make sure all your maps are equal in version AND compatible with the current SDK. When going for a longer trip, it might be wise to disable auto app updates, to prevent installing a new SDK version while you do not have the offline maps for it.

Not entirely sure what happened with offline maps over the past updates.
I haven't updated any offline maps on my personal phone since a few months ago and not experiencing any issues. Offline maps should not be affected by an app (or SDK) update at all unless a mistake was made somewhere
Seems like something went wrong internally with regards to the memory as suddenly other regions appear as downloaded again.
Unfortunately at those moments a reinstall might be the best solution. If the offline maps itself would be corrected, the "offline maps" page would indicate this with a way to resolve the issue.

@Corjan-Meijerink
For my part, everything worked perfectly until the app was updated. It was after this update that I was no longer able to calculate a route offline. Something I have done 100 times this autumn.This is the third time that I have downloaded the Europe map and it is the same problem each time. I am missing France and the United Kingdom and the download is blocked here.
What is the name of the directory where the maps are located on my SD card? I'm going to try to delete the cards and re-download completely... it's frustrating how this works
