Viewing offline maps while riding

I have recently started to use my phone more and more for navigation and with the recent acquisition of a WunderLINQ from blackbox embedded has made the experience even better
One thing I have noticed though is when I've not got a route set I like to have a map showing on the screen but I can't seem to do this with MyRoute-app!
I prefer to use offline maps too so I have these maps downloaded already
Is there a way to show a map and your position while you are riding along with no route set

@stuart-marritt Not yet, a so called "free-ride" is on the backlog of the dev-team.
